I've even heard of someone running 4K on a GTX970.Įdit: Removed cos probably gonna get banned for it. If my older generation HD7970 6gb card can do that, then one GTX980ti should be able to run 4K for this game. While it isnt as shiny as it could be (better than the highest game settings), I can still run the in game settings at max across 3x 24" monitors and have no performance drops. The Devs don't care and Nvidia and AMD don't take our Devs seriously.
Rise of the tomb raider nvidia inspector tweaks driver#
I doubt you'll ever get proper driver support for multi graphic cards in this game. Nvidia and AMD don't want to have to do driver updates everytime Bio Devs think its a good idea to mess with graphics settings that don't need changing.

The issue is everytime the Devs change something in the games graphics settings, it messes it up again. There are some tweaks for SLi and Crossfire to make it stable. I got some great visual effects, but FPS performance was no different to one card. I tried running crossfire for my 3 monitor setup. Most titles that are that old run fine 4K with a single 980Ti like DA II and Mass Effect 3 altho they also have excellent SLI scaling. Adding a second GPU fixes that but introduces random crashes and fps drops. And i can't max out the shadow resolution. The place I mentioned is purely community based, they just moved it from this forum to some silly EA shared site which made me stop helping people basically unless i happen to notice threads here since that site absolutely sucks. So having SLI on is a headache despite the marginal gain. This also happens if I go to the Graphics options and change something there (with SLI enabled).

Yeah sure it does support it officially and the scaling is around 150% but there are random crashes and FPS drops to 5-10 FPS. Ive played all of Bioware's games and this is the only which doesn't have proper SLI support. (except Batman AK which doesn't even support it officially). I'm talking about all major titles like DAI, Witcher 3, SW BF, Fallout 4. In the past year most games haven't had good scaling at launch but it was fixed via patches or driver updates in the coming months, and now they offer excellent scaling ~175-180%. Its usually the community that fixes SLi related problems by coming up with unofficial SLI profiles like in case of THE DIVISION. The EA helpline forum nor the Nvidia forums have ever been helpful, like never. From what most report it's more the newer cards that have issues with SL I in this game than older ones that have had more driver development over time for them.īest bet is put forward the card combo you are looking at and ask for specific advice, more likely on that EA help forum it links to since people mad rush to answer questions there for points.
